  Are you a researcher or a citizen scientist? Either way it might be worth reaching out to one of the beamline scientists who runs a measurement technique you might be interested in. Usually you would chat with them to discuss the measurement feasibility and design before submitting an actual beamtime proposal What sort of things are you interested in? I’ve been involved in some x-ray absorption spectroscopy, it’s a really interesting method
