- cmeacham98 3y agoMost professional software engineers need to communicate with managers, PMs, support, sales, etc - and "download this obscure software and learn how to use git" is not an acceptable answer for how to access the issue tracker.
- willtemperley 3y agoYou're right, it's definitely not for corpo-clone engineers and more for those of us that like to be in control.
- cmeacham98 3y agoI guess only us "corpo-clone engineers" care about users being able to report bugs without learning how to use the command line and git.
- willtemperley 3y agoThere's a webui which is quite good at reporting bugs, even when GitHub is down. I guess you didn't even look at the software before commenting.
- cmeacham98 3y agoI did look at the software - the web UI requires running it locally, they specifically call out hosting it publicly being impossible.
