- scarface74 3y agoMy home before I moved was built for $335K and we bought it using an FHA loan with 3.5% down in north metro Atlanta in 2016. It was about the median price of a home back then. I was still in the recovery phase of my career (long story). We qualified for when I was making $135K. For reference, that’s less than a returning intern I mentored at BigTech got offered in 2021 (we work remotely).
