Ask HN: How do you pay your affiliate marketers?
Curious as someone who is about to start their own affiliate programme (using custom built code).
> What kind of KYC information do you get from people?
> What payment/money transfer service do you use?
> How long do you wait between taking a sale and paying the affiliate?
Finally, what are some points/problems to be aware of?
- ezekg 3y agoI use Rewardful for managing affiliates (i.e. not custom), and I use PayPal for affiliate payouts. I typically wait 30 days between sale and payout. I've never had an issue.

- make_it_sure 3y agoWe use FirstPromoter, they're probably the only non-network affiliate tool that handle payouts through Paypal API without asking to bulk upload a CSV file.
