Maybe people are starting to think for themselves instead of just accepting the Western MSM's output favoring the Western Establishment views. On the Internet you are not restricted to just Western media, but news broadcasters from all around the world. Maybe sometimes people see the 'other' news can be more truthful than the Western news. Or maybe the cognitive dissonance from what the people experience and what the MSM say is just too grating to accept. As the old saying goes "What are you going to believe? What I'm saying or your own lying eyes?"
