I'm more-or-less familiar with what a tax credit is, but what is a commercial lease?
"Treasury in December said EVs ineligible for the $7,500 consumer tax credit could qualify for a commercial leasing $7,500 credit."
What does that mean for a consumer wanting to buy an EV?

- yardie 4y agoIt means they will have to take a lease instead of paying by cash or financing with credit. It's a loophole that Kia and Hyundai is trying to steer customers to. Their last quarter was stupendously bad.
