Good call, Jeff. From someone who made a similar decision not so long ago, you've made a very good decision. As was explained to me with my own family: your job/company/career will never hug you back. I used to approach my career with the standpoint of figuring out how to manage my time to wrap my family into the schedule. Now I do the opposite -- I figure out how to manage my time to put my career around my family. Interesting thing I've found: I'm better now than I was before. Making a family investment decision, for me, has paid off in spades.
