China claims its Space Station has achieved 100% oxygen regeneration in orbit
- sam_goody 4y agoBravo! IMO, we should put politics and rivalry aside a minute and just appreciate a job well done. (Even Russia / USA collaborated on manned spacecraft long peacefully in middle of tensions.) A biosphere of any sort is an impressive achievement. One that drops the amount of junk we are ferrying back and forth is even better. Being able to keep people outside earth without replenishment is needed for many long term goals, and may be a species saving event at some point. This is a nice step in that direction.
