My big concern about the headset is that it will be more iPhone and less Mac. It’s potentially a powerful input and visual display peripheral but if it’s locked down so tightly that you can’t do something like connect haptic hand tracking hardware then it’s going to suck. I don’t want more consumption devices, I need more productivity devices and Microsoft is turning into a toxic advertising cesspool I can’t trust for basic business security reasons, leaving me with apple as bd going everything myself on Linux.
