Things you can't get through security check ('liquids'): yoghurts, the salad dressing on a salad. Doubtful about hummus. On international flights: some fresh fruit (e.g. apples, US CBP), and some dried fruits and nuts, depends on country, see guidelines. Useful tip: buy trail mix in bulk and repack in a small ziplock food bag in your luggage.
