Tell HN: Twitch.tv now supports WebRTC ingestion (Broadcast from your browser)
You can use it today with these values. If you have any feedback/questions I would love to hear.
* URL - https://g.webrtc.live-video.net:4443/v2/offer
* Bearer Token - (Twitch Stream Key)
You can stream from your browser or from other tools like OBS. You can get a build of OBS that supports WebRTC here. https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/pull/7926. This doesn't use all the features of WebRTC yet, but it will continue getting better and better.
- steveseguin 4y agowooOooo!!
- steveseguin 4y agoWhen I try it via the browser, I get "site has been blocked by CORS policy", so it seems the end point isn't browser friendly. I got things working with vdo.ninja though, using a custom proxy endpoint; twitch.vdo.ninja. Sweet! steve @ discord.vdo.ninja
- steveseguin 4y agoI added support for this new Twitch webRTC endpoint to VDO.Ninja. You can try it out here: https://vdo.ninja/alpha/whip https://vdo.ninja/alpha/whip WOOOOOOOO!
- mergelab 4y agoI’m trying it out today… super duper excited
- mergelab 4y agoHow do you try it directly from a browser? Thanks
