This is false. UWP is literally a sandbox. And Windows also supports containerization.
- dagmx 4y agoMost apps aren’t UWP, therefore not ubiquitous. macOS takes a much more hardline approach to this, which is what’s needed for things like this.
- the8472 4y agoWindows containers are crapshot. Unlike linux containers you must match the exact kernel version. And GPU acceleration is iffy, which is important for games.
