How about a ham & cheese sandwich that costs $29+tax ($31.57 total) in Upper East Side Manhattan?
I thought the large pastrami sandwiches for almost $20 was crazy before the pandemic. But for a regular size ham & cheese?

- smelendez 4y agoBut they don’t have a monopoly and that’s not normal Manhattan pricing. As the article mentions, you can go down the street to Panera or McDonald’s or anywhere else more easily than in the airport.
