Well that is a very common trap with writing, not choosing an appropriate audience for what you are writing about will send you down a rabbit hole. There are some things you simply cannot explain to a beginner audience because they lack the fundamental context for comprehension. Some may ask questions, and give it a good go, but really without that context its an unproductive use of both parties time. Some will misunderstand this as being a gatekeeper but it really has nothing to do with that. Its a problem you only really accept and learn through experience.
