That movie. I got physically ill watching it from the Dutch angles and the lurid colour grading. That said, the script was pulpy, but once you got away from the authorship taint and the motion sickness it was probably no worse than any other second-tier SF potboiler. I have the DVD (special edition!) as a means to threaten houseguests.
