- mensetmanusman 4y agoThe idea of the cave is egotistical?
- toxik 4y agoI thought it implied that Plato meant philosophers more truly see the things as they are and not their shadows, and that to me sounds a bit fancy.
- mensetmanusman 4y agoIt implies the existence of a mind/thoughts/etc. that transcend the material.
