The only thing that really annoys me about this website is the fixed vibrant background images that interfere with the text. Otherwise, I find it quite refreshing to see something different. I have seen much worse typography on “professional looking” websites tbh. However, it is not the most accessible of websites and I certainly wouldn’t want to have e.g. Wikipedia be designed like this (oof), but I don’t mind the occassional quirky rebellious web design adventure.
