Cannabis retail sales to surpass $33.5B in 2023, topping chocolate, eggs (cont)
- h2odragon 4y agoI've seen several farms bring in big crops of (now legal in our state) hemp, over the past 4 years; and find very little market and immense difficulties dealing with banks, law enforcement, neighbors, etc. The folks who are still making money gave up producing their own product and are now reselling "Delta 8 THC" products they buy in bulk from overseas. The market for illegal cannabis has been stomped by the vape cart, extract, and artificial cannibinoids. Only the purists and curmudgeons are still looking for cannabis flower, everybody else is consuming processed an anonymized substances, it seems. Very much like real old school opium vs "opiates", and I expect that's how the world will be going forward.
