The statistic on its own says very little, but it says a lot when you compare it to the same statistic for young women.
- defrost 4y agoConsistently for almost a century (world war stats altered things) young male suicides rates have been approx 4x that of young women (IIRC). That itself is of note and worth discussion, but in the context of "this is happening here and now!!" it's not anything new, sudden or different.
