A $1500 disposable gun. I'm not sure most gun buyers are going to go for this except as a novelty to add to a collection hoping it goes up in value as a failed idea. Yes, I say this is disposable because the electronics will wear out rendering this gun useless. As I read the biofire website it makes me like this gun less and less. A limited warranty on a gun. Maybe where they come from needs to be less tech companies and more gun manufacturers. Most gun manufacturers will give you a lifetime warranty regardless of their written policy's because these are passionate firearms people wanting to make quality products that will last for your grandkids and beyond.

Adding to this, I am having flashbacks of having to buy an expensive programming device for my old truck to replace simple components because they are coded to a serial number. This is also like Apple devices that require reprogramming to avoid the use of stolen parts. This sounds like it will be easy for actual thieves to get around and a PITA for the legit owners of the devices. No more self repair, everyone will have to take this thing to an authorized service tech and if that is truly the case then the firearm should be priced much lower as their money would be made by service contracts.
