Tomlinson was not harassed for a hot take, he was trolled because he extremely overreacts to things online in a funny way that attracts trolls. It's obviously not justifiable to take this off of the internet, but I have a hard time taking somebody who tried to sue and ruin the lives of sixty random internet strangers for the crime of making fun of him online (without even contacting him!) as a pure victim who did nothing to provoke people.
- mcv 3y agoIf even a fraction of the stuff in that article is true, it's the trolls who are overreacting. Has he been swatted SIX times?! If you have a different perspective, please share it, but from the information available so far, it appears that his tormentors belong in prison and Tomlinson deserves our support. It's sad that the justice system is unable to deal with such vicious abuse of online anonymity.
