Also working in the field and I don't understand why this article is even on the front-page. The author has clearly no idea what they're talking about, it almost reads as a satire.

- bazmattaz 4y agoOh good, I’m glad I’m not the only one then. I Have a feeling pooping on recommendations systems is en vogue right now. Social commentators love to point out how “evil” ML algorithms are while conversely complaining how X product is terrible at recommendations.
