LangChain and AutoGPT have done some interesting things here by making it "talk to itself", simulating an introspective process. Similarly, the Bing implementation has the model "talk to itself" in a way hidden from the user to summarize requests and make web searches based on them.
- stametseater 4y agoI'm aware of such, but as it stands using ChatGPT is like talking to a person who's afraid to stop talking. Such people just keep yakking in a sort of continuous improve that constantly prompts itself. Ask such people to sit quietly for five minutes and they'll start to lose their minds and exhibit "self-stimulation" behavior, probably to distract themselves from whatever their inner monologue might say (or so I assume.) I don't mean to suggest that ChatGPT is actually working in the same way, but the result is qualitatively similar. A lot of words with relatively little substance. Details invented wherever necessary to keep the flow going.
