I wondered when this narrative would start. Companies want employees back in the office, and are starting to dial up the fear to do it.
This story seems based on a comment a CEO made and nothing more than that. It does highlight real issues with remote work, such as what is it that your are paying a us worker for vs a worker from a cheap labor market?

- citrin_ru 3y agoIndian IT sector has grown dramatically since 1995 so it works to some extent.
- asdajksah2123 3y agoAlso relevantly, Indians are much more willing to move back to India today, where an IT job (especially with an American company), will allow them a much better standard of living than what they have in the US.
