Germany also left research of future energy technology and research of own weapons. Basically US must save Germany again and again for another hundreds of years keeping nuclear weapons in Germany. Also Germany went all-in in buying ship-wise solar panels from China constructing another dependency. Stupid thing is that sun does not shine in the night. Also batteries will be bought container-wise from China. I don’t know if it was clever decision to replace nuclear with coal. Kinda of back to the 60s.
