    The neat thing is Tesla can and does update their software OTA, even for really old models. So maybe some day you'll be able to drive without any instrumentation to bother you.

      I would love if these was lite model with just giant speed indicator. But by the time they perfect their software my car won’t receive updates anymore.

  If Tesla counts as “lightyears ahead” that whole sector of the industry is in poor shape. Tesla’s software is an absolute mess of poor UX and bugs
