I'm trained as a lawyer. This line of 'challenge' is something I use 3-4 times yearly. Frequently, it is with a person who is hyperventilating about some 'characterization'. I'm not as patient as Musk -- maybe because the microphones aren't running. Literally, I'll ask the question twice -- and if no coherent response comes back, I dismiss the person. Be prepared, though. Because you will quite likely enrage your counterparty, and they will just get more blustery, when you hit them up this way. So be warned.
