This is going to sound stupid, but I've always wondered if one day we just find out that sugar pills do have medicinal value.
- airstrike 4y agoI take an "anti-stress" "natural" "medication" most nights when I want to go to sleep. I know it's basically just flavored sugar but it knocks me out and I'm asleep in 5 mins. Who needs melatonin when I've got this placebo ritual that works just as well with no side effects?
- notfed 4y agoI always thought this too, "sugar" pill never sounded neutral. Maybe it should be a "water" pill. But then we reserve the term "water pill" for pills that make you pee, gahh. Naming pills is hard. (Let's not even talk about the risks of off-by-one errors here.)
