- NeoTar 3y agoOne of the things I dislike most about the actual Pokémon games is that they tie the measurement units to the language in the game language. Want to play in English? Congratulations, you only get to see feet and pounds.

- Jeremy1026 3y agoCharizard has always been drawn about a head taller than 10-year old Ash. And it was the same size as Leon in Sword/Shield.

- CSMastermind 3y agoThis is a very cool idea. Would be interesting to see a spread of like 5 pokemon with the most similar in the center and slightly higher weights on the right with slightly lower weight on the left. That way you can see how changing your weight would affect the results ;) Also interesting that you're generating an image instead of having selectable text (I was expecting the @komori541milk to be a link). It would also be cool to see multiple results in the case where there are ties. (Slowbro and Exeggutor have the exact same measurements for instance).
- robin_reala 3y agoYeah, the image is a reasonable choice, but the lack of alt text (beyond “generated og image”), considering that you have the text already, is a shame.

- joe__f 3y agoSounds like you have a pretty uneven relationship, if one of you has that much higher friendship than the other
- 4ggr0 3y agoIf my girlfriend suddenly grows by 7 inches I'd be very surprised, I think no amount of friendship-polishing will achieve this :') Gaining weight would be doable, and as much as I try not to body-shame people, especially her, I think I'd be worried if she would gain 45 pounds... (...if she'd do that, she'd be Kommo-o, a Pokemon I've never seen or heard :D) And if we stay in the Poke-meta, I wonder who our respective trainers are.

- Jeremy1026 3y agoThe person you are replying to is asking why you're harvesting heights and weights of users. As if you have some nefarious plan for the information.
- vimax 3y agoI’ll never understand why people are so quick to provide such personal data for trivial reasons.
- nluken 3y agoI generally agree but in this case how personal are we getting really? There's no login or anything, and you can put a fake name in. At most, my IP is getting logged, and the fact that I'm coming from HN. I don't consider height/weight that personal either, but I was an athlete in college so maybe that's because that data was publicly available on the internet for some time.
- gerjomarty 3y agoThis might be the best unintentional weight loss tool I've seen. Trying to get to the Pokemon a size down feels like a nice challenge.
