I mostly agree with this -- the converged value will be ~1% of the initial hype. 1% of hype is still massive. After the noise has calmed, I feel generative AI, at its core, will enhance information search and summarization; lookup and compression. That itself will have massive value. It will differentiate roles that require net new thinking from those that require regurgitation.
