So I think this is to be used where turning off the TV (the display device, not the Apple TV) would also turn off the audio right? (Built in speakers, or a sound bar that routes thru the TV etc) Simple solution! I’d lead with the problem though, had to think about why you might want this.

In the author's defense, a primary usecase is listed in the first graphic under the top paragraph (and the sentence just below the image highlights it).
