DAs don't make the decision to arrest you if you're found with a gun during an incident. Cops make that decision. The DA doesn't even see the case file until the next day, at the earliest. So you're problem seems to be with the...liberal police? And by the way...those "liberal DAs" you're slamming are the ones pushing back against mandatory gun enhancements, which were passed during the Republican era of government in California. LA's ultra-liberal DA was the subject of an attempted recall for trying to ban his DAs from adding gun enhancements to crimes.
