- fifilura 4y agoUnfortunately you did not spell out what you were thinking. But I had a similar reaction. I believe that cars in general had less weight 40 years ago. But it came at a cost of much worse crash safety in form of deformation zones and general sturdyness. But I am sure the GP is also aware of these issues and can comment.
