I've befriended and fed a certain individual in south San Jose who would stand on a the corner of Bernal and Santa Theresa and yell at the air. Anyone familiar with the area knows who I am talking about. He is extremely lucid most of the time. And a very grateful and warm hearted individual. But he cannot for the life of him access any services, food stamps or healthcare or anything. The police can't even help him. They all know him. No one seems to be able to help him. I've fed him and been his friend, I don't know what else I can do. He has no ID nor way to get ID.
