- rcoveson 4y agoI'm somebody who usually finds himself defending Stallman, so please let me gently nudge you to read at least the trivially discoverable criticism of him before making the assumption you're making.

- iLemming 4y agoMaybe because he holds incredibly uncompromising views that he defends with much fervor? Sometimes, it appears as if an overeducated child throws tantrums. Mature individuals understand that nothing in the real world is black and white. Even when one holds strong beliefs, it's essential to try and find a compromise. Otherwise, one's rhetoric doesn't differ much from religious fanaticism. Having a fanatic as a leader guarantees to attract haters.
