- carabiner 4y agoThis is a revolutionary toilet design being adopted by a lot of US parks to replace the (usually disgusting) pit toilets that have to be pumped out by trucks, or the composting toilets that don't really compost. It reduces solid waste by 95%, basically a big bag of dry dirt. The company founder, Geoff Hill, came up with the design during his phd in human waste management.
