Underrated comment. If you have responsibilities beyond yourself, and a less than 100% enjoyable job is the best way to service those responsibilities, its exceptionally hard to walk away. The unknowable is how low the percentage needs to drop from 100% enjoyable before you realize you are slowly dying. I have a lot more respect for how tired my father was now, that's for sure.
