I wonder how WeWork is going to handle this.
- throwaway5959 4y agoIf companies want to still provide some office space for their employees, WeWork may actually benefit from the trend.
- barrenko 4y agoThis.
- dopidopHN 4y agoYes, I will probably never see the offices of my current employer. But I have a weWork-type credit with a company in my town. ( that I will probably not gonna use either. It might be the new gym membership)
- hot_gril 4y agoYeah, idk what's going to actually happen, but WeWork makes a lot more sense now. Most employers seem to agree that offices are good but also want to hire in a wider variety of locations.
- basisword 4y agoI know of a few companies who have let leases expire and moved to WeWork. The plan is 1-2 years at WeWork so they can figure out how many people actually come to the office regularly before committing to new permanent offices.
- icedistilled 4y agoWith WFH, WeWork could do hot vacation spots and do well
- toomuchtodo 4y agoThis sort of model would be perfect for remote orgs. Offices near employees, destinations for corporate retreats. One vendor to cut a check to. Could also offer top notch vacation spots as a perk to employees.
