- bethekind 4y agoIirc iron lungs are better than CPAP, as the positive pressure caused by CPAP, if too big can stress the lungs. Iron lungs use negative pressure so they don't suffer from this
- agrue 4y agoIron lung use was not 24x7 for all patients.
