And so called canned hunts happen in Texas. Mountain lions, also called Cougars, are the exact opposite of endangered. Is it stupid to go hunting one? Sure, I guess. Given that cougars can be found walking down the streets in suburbs outside of Seattle, (also I think you can find them walking around some of the larger parks in Seattle!) I would hardly be impressed if someone told me they killed one. "Oh wow you killed a large cat that eats small dogs and also drinks out my bird feeder".
