  > UTF-8 is the only permissible text encoding. Software may assume all text is UTF-8 and waste no effort on other encodings. Nice! I like it :) Ironically I sometimes run across UTF-8 problems on my systems even in 2023. Maybe one day it will finally all Just Werk™
