Hi there, my recent posts indeed have been related to topics I find of interest on India and eastern faiths. I have a particular interest in these areas but if you look at my overall profile I do post on a lot of topics. I have been on HN for a long time, not sure why I am being banned for highlighting another account who has been on here for barely a few weeks?
- dang 4y agoThe problem is that you're using HN primarily to comment on topics that are classic ideological/nationalistic/religious/political flamebait, and at the same time have been posting low-quality flamewar comments yourself. I'm not saying all your posts have been this, but enough of them have that this pattern is not ok. If you want to commit to avoiding that in the future and to making sure that ideological/nationalistic/religious/political topics do not dominate your HN posts, we can unban you.
- amriksohata 4y agoYes apologizes, I didn't know this was a term of HN. I am truly interested in tech and reading this forum and would like to continue please. I agree not to post on one singular area as above.
