DoctorGPT brings GPT into production for error diagnosing
- raldi 4y ago> Each user-defined trigger for a user-defined parser log line event will generate a diagnosis file The README would benefit from an example of what one of these looks like, and an example of a line that would trigger it, and an example of what the corresponding diagnosis file would look like.
- yosito 4y agoThis is a good start, but I think it expects to be used in a little bit too structured of a way. One of the benefits of GPT is that you can be a bit loose with the format. Rather than setting up my tools to properly pipe errors into this, I think I'd get better results by just copy/paste into a GPT chat.
- ymolinar 4y agoYeah, for programs that run in a once-and-done kinda way your approach totally makes sense. This is intended to be embedded into production environments where many different types of logs could spew many different kinds of multi-line information and there needs to be an efficient way to capture all that and send it for automatic diagnosis and potential further manual/automated actions (if applicable). I thought about it from a cloud deployment (Kubernetes) perspective (like a node DaemonSet).
