A lot of people live paycheck to paycheck, even middle income earners.
- paulpauper 3y agoFANG workers are not middle income. Middle income is sub 6 figures.
- jacurtis 3y agoEven 150k in SF doesn't get you as far as you would think. That person is probably living pretty close to paycheck-to-paycheck. Granted, the average FAANG salary is higher than that, but still I think the general public seems to think FAANG workers are richer than they actually are. Most FAANG workers are solidly comfortable. But not independently wealthy.
