Lithium iron phosphate is still lithium-ion. Tesla's main other battery type is nickel cobalt aluminum (NCA). The names in both cases refer to the cathode material, but they're both still lithium-ion. (There are also other lithium-ion cathode materials that don't contain nickel, such as LMO)
