Schelling Day
- ftxbro 4y agoIt's a rationalist holiday celebrating the concept of the 'Schelling Point' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focal_point_(game_theory) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focal_point_(game_theory) it's on Schelling's birthday April 14. But I feel like it would more faithfully honor the idea of the Schelling Point to put it on one of the solstices or equinoxes. Anyway I guess the day doesn't matter. The thing that matters is getting together with some like minded nerds like it's a 2007 reddit meetup so we can bacon and narwhal to each other and play cringe chicken who can stand the cringe longest.
