Interesting. I've lived in NM -- mostly northern -- for over 20 years now. I minored in Spanish and continue to strive to improve my mediocre fluency. I take multiple trips to the Sangre de Cristo area every year for camping and fishing. And yet I don't recall ever having heard of a discrete NM dialect. TIL!
