Wanting to “love your job” is a mindset where you are constantly looking to someone else to keep you afloat.
Seek FI. Then you can “love your life”, and if that involves continuing to put your efforts into what you did before, great. You’re now a willing participant. The secret to loving your job is not needing it.

- HellDunkel 4y agoI have been in love with my job for more than a decade. And i needed it. Its not mutually exclusive. FI is great but certainly not a good enough reason to quit a job you enjoy for pursueing something that is not guaranteed to work out.
