The Global CTX Mosaic of Mars
- extheat 4y agoSuper cool. I wonder how it would look in color. I'm also a bit curious on the geometry, it seems to be much flatter than what I'd expect, but this may just be an issue with the reconstruction.
- bartvk 4y agoIndeed quite cool. The page says that the images come from the Context Camera ("CTX") on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. There's a nice picture of the camera in a lab setup. https://mars.nasa.gov/mro/mission/instruments/ctx/ https://mars.nasa.gov/mro/mission/instruments/ctx/
