- 13years 4y agoAI regulations are crucial because they help ensure that AI is created and deployed in a safe, ethical, and societally useful manner. They can aid in the prevention of unexpected outcomes in decision-making processes, such as bias or discrimination. We don't even know what "safe" means. We don't know how to test for it or define it. Unexpected outcomes are probably the only thing to be expected.
